Story:

This story takes place on the Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka border. A serial killer hunts down women and leaves their dead bodies in the forest area. However, the killer changes his target and starts targeting the women who have survived his attacks. But there is no case booked against the missing women. Meanwhile, a private detective named Bhutadham Bhaskar Narayan (played by Shiva Kandukuri) who is investigating the murders in that area fails to find any clues related to the killings. However, he does have a connection with those murders. But what is the real story behind it? Who is the serial killer, why does he do such things, how does he manage to take away the heads of the surviving women, what does he do next, and how did they catch him in the end, all this needs to be seen in the entire movie.

Plus Points:

This story is very interesting and engaging. With a mythological story as the link, this movie progresses with many intriguing sequences. Especially the pre-climax and climax episodes are well done. The actor who played the villain performed exceptionally well. If we compare his previous film with our history, hero Shiva Kandukuri excelled in his role and acted very well. Bhootaddam Bhaskar Narayana, who played the role of detective, impresses us with his performance in many crucial sequences. Rashi Singh also acted well in her role. Other characters also did justice to their roles. The visuals in this movie are good and provide a treat to the audience along with good sound effects. The small house set in the climax episode is well done. The production values in the movie are good.

Mainas Points:

Truly, the current movie audience is very knowledgeable. Especially when it comes to such thrilling movies, the makers should be very careful. Now, when it comes to the subject of Bhootadand Bhaaskar, it is not a good idea to think too much about who the killer is. That is the minus point of this movie. Without knowing who the killer is, it doesn’t create much thrill for everyone. In such movies, the background score should play before the movie starts. But that aspect is not very interesting in this movie. Due to the lack of a proper BGM, some scenes are not understandable. Also, due to the twist reveal and the villain’s backstory with magical situations, the animation visuals are good but the sound mixing is not. In the first half, many scenes are misplaced. Also, the comedy scenes inserted in the middle do not connect well and they are not very impactful. Even though the movie has good intense moments, the director fails to keep the audience engaged in moving the story forward.

Technical Category:

The movie is good both in terms of songs audio and visual mixing. Some dialogues are meaningful and the BGM is also impressive. The movie should have been shorter in runtime. The visuals are powerful. Director Purushottam Raj Panitanam has done a good job there. The story is good and the narration makes it more interesting. Also, the investigation scenes in the second half are well executed.

Conclusion:

To put it simply, the movie Bhootadand Bhaaskar Narayan is an interesting story with Shiva Kandukuri as the hero. The first half has some scenes that are not related to the story, but the second half progresses well. The last few minutes are thrilling with interesting scenes. Hero Shiva has performed well in his role. Though there are some technical issues, overall this movie can be enjoyed. So, this weekend, you can watch Bhootadand Bhaaskar Narayan movie happily.
