Supernatural is an American television series that premiered on September 13, 2005, on The WB. The show follows the story of two brothers, Sam and Dean Winchester, who hunt supernatural creatures such as demons, ghosts, and monsters. As the series progresses, the brothers uncover a larger plot involving the apocalypse, ancient gods, and other supernatural forces.
The show was created by Eric Kripke and produced by Warner Bros. Television. It stars Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester and Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester, with Misha Collins joining the cast later on as the angel Castiel.
